On October 7th, the “Swords of Iron” war broke out

from the South to the North of Israel

Their home is no longer safe
They have nowhere to return to
They are refugees in their own country, drifting
They so wanted to celebrate their birthdays…
Bakehila’s “Birthday Angels”
made their dreams come true
and turned the most important day of their year
into a meaningful celebration
Young angels, volunteers
with warmth, hope, and love
ease the trauma
returning smiles to their faces
Bakehila- Leading Social Change was founded in 2002
by Erel and Debbie Margalit
and has changed the lives of over 55,000 at-risk children
Jews and Arabs, from all across Israel
with over 1,000 “Year of Service” volunteers.
