The World Climate Tech Tour is an international initiative aimed at identifying and showcasing promising startups and technologies to combat climate change. Launched in New York City in March 2023, the tour features several Israeli startups and includes stops in cities such as Jerusalem, Paris, Munich, Stockholm, and Bahrain, culminating at the COP28 climate meeting.
In Jerusalem, the tour highlights Israel’s significant contributions to climate technology innovation. The city is home to numerous climate tech startups, with nearly 700 identified across the country. These startups focus on various areas, including DesertTech, which leverages Israel’s expertise in arid climate solutions.
