Demonstrating absolute confidence in the speed, power and capacity of its 'rule-breaking' business analysis and reporting application, QlikView 7, leading BI solution provider, QlikTech, is inviting major organisations to take up its '48-hour Business Intelligence Challenge'.
QlikTech will provide challengers with the personnel and software to enable organisations to 'switch on' their Business Intelligence in just 48 hours - without any cost, risk or obligation.
And there is no restriction on the type, source or volume of data nominated for analysis. QlikTech will provide a real-time analytical dashboard application with full drill-down capability on any data set that participants want to analyse. This could be sales or trade P&L data across equities or financial information - the choice is completely open.
QlikTech is also able to offer support from Intel's Itanium and x64 bit platforms to dramatically increase the scale of analysis possible from QlikView. These 64-bit platforms remove the 4-gigabyte memory limit on 32 bit systems, providing the capacity to process hundreds of millions of records in memory, thus enabling huge data volume analysis to be done in seconds by the end-user. The latest version of QlikView can load data 100 times faster than any other data source - as high as one million records a second. Unlike traditional, more limited OLAP tools, QlikView analyses in real-time, which enables any user to drill through data from any source and arrive at specific detail that is relevant to their query.
Andy Honess, QlikTech UK managing director, explains the reason for launching the 48-Hour BI challenge. "Our customers are consistently amazed by the speed and amount of valuable corporate information QlikView reveals and the resulting difference this makes to their business operations. We're so confident in the system's capabilities that we decided to invite businesses to put it to the test themselves in a guaranteed zero-risk challenge. Challengers can choose any combination of data for analysis - the more data, the better. We know we can provide a whole new view of companies' business, revealing information they never knew they had."
QlikTech UK is already engaged in proving this challenge with several top UK organisations, delivering a view of their enterprise they have never seen before.
