Agnes Touraine, Venture Partner
Agnes is an accomplished media executive with particular expertise in publishing
and interactive media. Currently, Agnes is a founding partner with Act III
Consultants; a management consulting ?rm. Prior to Act III, Agnes was Chairman
and CEO of Vivendi Universal Publishing. With 4 billion Euros in revenues,
Vivendi Universal Publishing is the world's third largest producer of
educational publications and video games including Warcraft and Starcraft. Agnes
had originally joined the Vivendi group as Chairman and CEO of one of their
subsidiaries, Liris Interactive, one of France's ?rst multimedia start-ups which
ultimately became Havas Interactive. Prior to that, Agnes was head of
Lagardere/Hachette's Consumer Publishing division and spent four years with
McKinsey. Agnes holds a degree in Law and graduated from the Paris Institut
d'Etudes Politiques. She obtained an MBA from Columbia Business School. She is
currently on the Board of ITV (UK), Neopost (France) and Fondation de France.
